Craig Jones - Director

Coach Jones is currently the Head Coach of the George Washington University Mens Soccer Program entering his 11th season as Head Coach. In 2015 Jones was named Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year as his team captured the Atlantic 10 Regular Season title and returned to the Championship game again in 2021.  During his tenure at GW he has produced 11 All-Conference honorees and his teams have excelled in the classroom receiving the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the past 8 years.

In additional to his role at GWU he was recently named the United States Youth Soccer (USYS) Technical Advisor for the East Region Olympic Development Boys program.  Having worked with the Virginia ODP Program Jones also worked on the East Region ODP Boys Staff the past 10 years.  He was honored to work with the 2006 Boys ODP National team in 2022 and again with the 2007 Boys ODP National Team in 2023 being the first ODP team to win the Prestigious Dallas Cup Tournament.

A native of Wales, Jones holds a USSF `A' Coaching License, National Youth License and United Soccer Coaches National Diploma.  Having worked in numerous capacities at the youth soccer club level in Washington, DC and Virginia for the past 25 years, he has also served as the director of numerous college and residential summer soccer programs in both the U.S. and Europe.  He is the founder of Premier Soccer Consulting, offering soccer services to youth players in the DMV metropolitan area as he instills his passion for the game on today’s rising stars within the game.

Iain Langstone - Assistant Coach

Iain Langstone is the current the Assistant Mens Soccer Coach at George Washington University having also coached collegiately at UDC for three years.  Iain has extensive experience in the youth game with over 15 years in various positions as an Age Group Director, Juniors Academy Director and Pro 23’s Head Coach.  He is currently the Head Coach of the Alexandria Soccer Association MLSNext U16 team and also oversees college placement for all players in the club.

 Langstone played collegiate soccer at D-II Slippery Rock from 2005-09, where he led The Rock to two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, three NCAA tournaments and two NCAA Sweet 16 appearances. His career stats include being ranked T-3rd all-time in program game winning goals and T-8th all-time for program games played.

Nicholas Conklu - Assistant Coach

Coach Nick is the current Assistant Mens Soccer Coach at the George Washington University.  In the youth game, he has coached & trained goalkeepers as well as field players and held director positions in various summer soccer camps, ball mastery programs, and coaching Futsal teams and futsal goalkeepers. He has a deep love and passion for soccer and enjoys helping, motivating, and inspiring young players to strive for excellence and achieve their goals.

His playing experience includes four years at the College of the Holy Cross (NCAA D1) & two seasons at Molloy University (NCAA D2) where he received ALL Conference Honors and Conference Goalkeeper of the Year. He currently coaches and plays for the Alexandria Reds semi-professional team which competes in the UPSL & NPSL.
